THE TANTRA VISION - in a Nut Shell...

• Everything is accepted, nothing is forbidden
  
  

• All experiences whether it is usually judged as good or bad are opportunities for learning and self development, for instance a situation in which you feel sexually frustrated is not viewed negatively, but as a “teaching”
  
  
• Tantra places no moral judgement on your sexual preferences.  The focus is not on with whom you do it but rather on how you do it.
  
  
• Tantric philosophy is one of “Wholeness” and of “Embracing everything”, because every situation whether pleasant or not is an opportunity to become more aware about who you are and how you can expand your capacities.
  
  
• Tantra also recognizes that within each adult human being, there is a natural unspoiled childlike spirit who can openly and innocently explore unfamiliar territory.  The innocence of this Spirit remains intact and represents our natural abilities to enjoy life, to love, to play and to be ecstatic.  This is the “Ecstatic Self”.
  
  
• Tantra embraces opposites, seeing them not as contradictions but as complements.  Therefore the concepts of Male/Female are viewed as two polarities that meet and merge in every human being.
  
  
• Tantra recognizes that each human being has both Masculine and Feminine qualities.  This means that we can expand our sexual identities by honouring the polarities within ourselves.  Therefore the man can be encouraged to explore his soft, receptive, vulnerable feminine aspects by slipping out from beneath the weight of his male responsibilities.  Allowing himself to “receive” while his partner “initiates”. The Women can explore her masculine aspects by recognizing that she can take the lead in lovemaking by creating new ways of guiding and teaching and giving herself and her partner pleasure.  Neither the man nor the woman give up their masculinity or femininity, but rather expand on their potential to include the other polarity.
  
  
• The great joy then is when the male and the female polarities merge a new dimension is experienced. This is the Sense of the Sacred.
  
  
• When the Sacredness of the sexual union is felt, it is possible to experience your connection to the Life Force.  The source of Creation. This creation lifts your consciousness beyond the physical plane into a field of power and energy much greater than your own.
  
  
• Tantra views Sexual Union not only as Sacred but as an Art
